7D

7D is the latest of our departments; it focuses on the rooflights production.
The aim of the company is to provide affordable products made by using the most advanced technology so they can meet the expectations of the most demanding needs of our clients.

The main advantages of the co-operation with 7D Group are; prompt execution and the warranty of durability of the products. 7D Group’s light bands are universal; light and durable structure allow for the variety of dimensions. The accurate choice of solutions are based on the project elaborated by a qualified constructor and its specifics are confirmed by the certification body.

7D offers services in terms of production, assembly, modernisation and renovation of light bands which can be supplied with numerous additional functions, such as air or smoke ventilation.

THE PRODUCTS OF 7D LLC.

All the products, offered by 7D LLC., are custom-made, individually for each of our clients while adjusting them to the already existing constructions while meeting the conditions of individual projects and innovative solutions.

Entire constructions base on aluminium mouldings that can be powder coated with coloured lacquer (according to RAL colour standard) if requested. Filling material is cellular polycarbonate plates which may be additionally strengthen by a polyester plate reinforced by fiberglass that meets the requirements of NRO Broof(tl).

Depending on the aesthetical preferences and thermal requirements, 7F LLC. has various polycarbonate plates at its disposal, with different levels of thickness and in multiple colours which, in some cases, are necessary for proving enough lighting or limiting the rise of temperature in rooms.

Light bands

Light aluminium construction which combined with polycarbonate plate allows for lighting any type of a room in a natural way.

It is supported by a roof plinth made of galvanized steel sheet (or RAL-coloured), produced as an individual order; available thickness: 1,5mm-3mm (depending on the type of the subconstruction and the method of its support).

Light bands can be included as the elements two subcategories:

Arched – bending radius depends on thickness of the polycarbonate used in the production:

ridge type;
tracked – bended in the ridge;
slope type.

Point type – installed mostly in the objects which require partial lighting.

Renovations and modernisation of light bands

Includes reinforcing the already existing light bands with essential facilities, i.e. air and/or smoke ventilation, replacing the particular elements of the light bands or full replacement of light bands while meeting the conditions mentioned in the project.

Replacement may involve:

Polycarbonate plates;
Installation of polycarbonate plates, where meeting the conditions given in NRO/Broof(t1) is required;
Replacing seals and joints.

Additional devices which light bands may be equipped with.

Ventilation units – gravitational ventilation

Optional:

ventilation control system (ventilation unit, weather sensor);

Smoke exhaust dampers – gravitational smoke removal

Point type – 24V pneumatic / electric control,
inside the light band – 24V pneumatic / electric control,
Above the staircase,
optional:
– control system (manual call points, optical smoke detectors, smoke removal control panels, electrical installation).

Wall transoms

We make both with muntin and a tongue and groove system. Both systems are perfect for all types of facilities where a large lighting area is required – at a low cost compared to traditional glazing systems. The boards used there have very good thermal insulation, where the ratio reaches even 0.82 W / m2K for 40 mm of thick polycarbonate. For wall transoms, it is important to use an additional spacer to obtain the NRO classification, as polycarbonate panels mounted in a vertical position have been classified in terms of fire spreading through the walls when exposed to fire from the facade as non-spreading fire (NRO) – which is confirmed by a technical approval of ITB.
